Forest Landscape Integrity Index
This dataset quantifies forest landscape integrity index (FLII) at 300 m spatial resolution, with global spatial coverage for the year 2019. FLII is a score that quantifies human impact on forest integrity, where higher values indicate less human impact.
Frameworks
Use cases
- Forest landscape integrity baseline for TNFD and SBTN disclosures
- Ecosystem health monitoring across operational footprints
- Identifying high-integrity areas for conservation prioritisation
- Nature-positive strategy development and target validation
Who uses this
TNFD and SBTN reporting teams use the FLII score to classify forest landscape condition across supply chains and investment portfolios — distinguishing high-integrity intact forests from modified or degraded landscapes. Conservation finance teams use it to identify priority sites for forest restoration investment. Corporate nature-positive strategy teams use FLII baselines to set and validate targets for improving forest integrity within operational and upstream sourcing footprints.
